Animals meet Brian
Four of The Animals (Alan Price, Chas Chandler, John Steele & Eric Burdon) with Brian Jones
and can anyone tell us who the unknown man is ?

After two years, someone finally wrote us to tell us that the unknown man is Alan "Fluff" Freeman, a BBC radio DJ whose voice can be heard on the Beatles BBC recordings.   Congratulations to Mic Graves of Finsbury Park, London, England who was the first person to write in and identify the unknown man for us.  Mic was rewarded with a gift of John Mars' recordings.

Thelonious Monk-
"With Monk, when you were recording, he would only do one or two takes of a tune. So, you better not screw up or else you'll be hearing that shit for the whole rest of your life."
- Charlie Rouse (Tenor Saxophone)
